Cafe gourmet coffee encompasses a broad range of coffee-related searches. Many people search this term looking for the freshest, and most delicious gourmet coffee offerings. Others may search in look for a local gourmet coffee cafe. Regardless, of why you have searched it, one thing is for sure — you’re probably like me, meaning you’re a bona fide coffee-lover!

I love gourmet coffee. There is nothing more delicious than a warm cup of Kona coffee or Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. Those are two of my favorite gourmet coffee offerings. They are both grown in tropical lush environments, one in Hawaii, and the other in Jamaica, of course. They both have delicious flavor and perfect notes with wonderful body.

Cafe gourmet coffee can also mean you are looking to find a certain kind of coffee. When I think of cafe gourmet coffee, I instantly envision a Parisian cafe serving quaint cups of coffee. If that is what you think of too, a French roast coffee may be right up your coffee alley!

Gourmet specialty coffee is considered some of the best coffee in the world. It is the finest, and typically the most expensive. The gourmet specialty coffees that are most loved and well known are also very region-specific, meaning they are grown in only certain parts of the world.

One very popular gourmet specialty coffee, is Kona coffee. Kona coffee is grown in a mountainous region of Hawaii. The balmy days of sunny morning, light mist in the afternoon, and very mild soil climates are perfect for growing this type of coffee.

Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee is also grown in a mountainous region; however, it is a region in Jamaica. This tropical environment is also perfect for growing delicious gourmet specialty coffee. The result is a coffee that is perfect on the palate with delicious body and virtually no bitterness.

Kopi Luwak is the considered the world’s most expensive coffee! It is harvest from the feces of the Asian Palm Civet, which is a rodent-type animal, and sells for hundreds of dollars per pound.

There is nothing finer than a cup of gourmet coffee. For some people this is a daily necessity, while others reserve gourmet coffee for special occasions only. I believe, with so many affordable options on the market today, gourmet coffee is appropriate for all coffee-related occasions!

Personally, I cannot imagine a day with out gourmet coffee. I like to drink a medium or dark roast in the morning, and a light cinnamon roast in the afternoon or for after dinner drinking. The great thing about gourmet coffee is the variety to choose from! The first step is deciding what roast you prefer: light, medium or dark. After that task it is important to decide if you prefer a specific region.

Personally, I love Kona coffee or Jamaican Blue Mountain. Both of these coffees are grown in lush, tropical environments and offer exquisite notes on the palate. They have rich notes that are deep in flavor and offer the perfect amount of body!

Specialty gourmet coffee is specifically made for when you want a delicious gourmet treat! Personally, as it is so affordable and readily available these days, I think my everyday, run-of-the-mill coffee, should be specialty gourmet coffee. Of course, it may cost a bit more, so that is not an option for everyone. However, when entertaining or having visitors come over, I believe a beautiful specialty gourmet coffee is a must!

Finding gourmet coffee is as simple as a click of a button. Many wonderful coffee purveyors have made fresh beans and blends available for purchase online. Also, gourmet coffee shops are popping up all over town these days. I find there is one within a couple miles of me at all times.

Some of the most expense specialty gourmet coffees include: Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, Kona coffee and Kopi Luwak. Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee is grown in Jamaica and provides a well balanced and full bodied coffee. Kona is grown in Hawaii and comes in a different variety of roasts and grades. Kopi Luwak is coffee that has been passed by a Asian Palm Civet and is the world’s most expensive and elusive specialty gourmet coffee!

Regardless of what coffee you choose, it should be one you love. For some a simple, flavored blend with a light roast is the only way to go. For others it is a dark roast with intense and robust flavors. The most important thing about enjoying and purchasing specialty gourmet coffee – is choosing one you love!

Supermarket coffee might be fine for your everyday, get-up-in-the-morning cup of coffee. But on those occasions when you want to relax and savour your brew, a nice specialty gourmet coffee is a must.

Finding gourmet coffee can be a challenge if you don’t live in a large urban area that has some fine food stores you can go browsing in. Thankfully, many quality coffee suppliers have gone online and you can now order beans from anywhere in the world.

These days, you can order your coffee beans from any of the famous coffee-growing regions around the globe with just a phone call or a click of your mouse. If you’re not sure what to choose from the huge selection out there, here is a quick run-down on some of the finer regions that you should sample from.

Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee is some of the most exclusive in the world, and usually the most expensive to buy. The region is small, but the high Caribbean mountain area has the perfect climate from growing coffee. Blue Mountain coffee is known for its very smooth and mild flavour, with none of the bitterness that you can find in some blends.

The next spot you might want to try would be Hawaii. There are several different regions for coffee in Hawaii, but the best would be Kona coffee. Kona coffee is grown on the slopes of either Mount Hualalai or Mauna Loa on the big island of Hawaii. Coffee from Kona is also smooth, though with a stronger flavour than Blue Mountain. There is a bit of spiciness to it as well.

When buying a regional gourmet coffee, be careful of any that are labeled as a blend. You can end up buying a bag of beans containing only 10% from that region. That doesn’t make it bad coffee, but you shouldn’t be paying high prices for coffee that is made up of mostly cheaper beans.

How can one define what is the best gourmet coffee when so much of the enjoyment is part of your personal tastes? Well, that may be true, but certain varieties of coffee are still generally accepted as being higher quality and finer tasting than others. And you can usually tell these coffees by their price tags.

Most coffee fanatics would agree that some of the very best gourmet coffee comes from the Jamaican Blue Mountain region. It’s one of those unique places in the world that has exactly the right climate and growing season for producing amazing coffee. You can expect to pay anywhere from $40 to $100 for a pound of roasted Blue Mountain coffee beans. The taste is smooth and clean.

The second coffee region that has top-notch coffee beans would be in the Kona district of Hawaii. Coffee grown along the slopes of Mount Hualalai or Mauna Loa are considered to be true Kona coffees, and should not be confused with any other Hawaiian coffee regions. Kona is a bit spicier than Blue Mountain, but without a hint of bitterness.

These are just two of the best locations for coffee, but not the only ones. Excellent gourmet coffee also comes from many areas of Kenya, Ethiopia, Costa Rica and Indonesia.

When looking for the best gourmet coffee, check the labels or descriptions on the website. It should say that the coffee is 100% beans from that region. A Kona blend does not mean a mix of Kona beans, but rather a mix of cheaper beans and a small percentage of true Kona coffee.

Large urban supermarkets may carry beans from these high-end regions, but you may have to search a bit more to find them. Gourmet food shops, or coffee houses might also be able to help you. And there is always the Internet for finding online sources that can deliver right to your door.
